Alonzo Russell, FPL engineer by day and Olympic sprinter by night, trades his steel-toed boots for sprinting shoes ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics. With a bronze medal already under his belt, he will race for his home country, the Bahamas.
Sean October can always be found volunteering in Broward, his backyard. He joined FPL volunteers visiting senior communities to make sure they’re prepared for the predicted active hurricane season.
Robert Mantilla gives back to the next generation of STEM professionals by mentoring students at his alma mater, including helping them build electric go-karts as part of Electrathon America.
FPL engineer and former high school robotics competitor Lily Pawlak returns to mentor her alma mater's robotics team, using her engineering skills to help students build an award-winning robot for the FIRST Robotics Competition.
