In the 1980s, FPL’s "attic rats" manually inspected attics for energy inefficiencies. Today, advanced tech streamline energy audits, drive down costs and give customers the power to manage their own electricity.

For 40 years, David King has been an energy expert for FPL visiting customers, like 81-year-old Johanna Mitrichas, to help them save on electricity bills by offering practical energy-saving tips and conducting home surveys.

As an FPL Outreach and Customer Service Director, Laura Bayona is making sure the elderly have access to assistance programs from the government, agencies and local companies.

FPL Energy Expert and Pensacola native Corey Booth volunteers year-round with the United Way to address the needs in his community. As colder weather affects him and his neighbors, he offers practical advice on ways to stay warm while keeping bills low.
