(NYSE: NEE) today announced that it has been named No. 1 overall among electric and gas utilities on Fortune magazine's 2014 list of the "World's Most Admired Companies." The company, whose principal subsidiaries are Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) and NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, was named tops in its industry for an unprecedented eighth straight year.
