The Online Home Energy Survey was recently enhanced to make it easier than ever for customers to get personalized, expert advice on how to save energy and money. The new features on the site include a welcome screen to show customers the simple steps they will take to complete the survey, a progress bar to show the steps that have been taken and those that need to be completed, and streamlined navigation to allow participants to easily view and print the completed report.
"We're helping customers get 'energy fit' by changing the way they look at being more energy efficient. For example, by making simple changes like turning the thermostat up by one degree, it can provide enough savings in one month to be able to power: your home for one day, your refrigerator for 29 days or your 50-inch TV for 40 days," said Sondra Houhoulis, an FPL energy expert featured in the campaign. "This simple change is just one of the ways you can save with the improved FPL Online Home Energy Survey."
The Energy Fit makeover winner will receive an Energy Fit kit worth $200, to be installed by an FPL expert, and $4,800 to be used towards the purchase of energy-efficient home appliances of the customer's choice.
