JUNO BEACH, Fla. -- Lani Haynes, contributions administrator in Community Relations and External Affairs at Florida Power & Light Company (FPL), has been named to the board of directors of the Playground Theatre. The theater company, located in Miami Shores, presents classical and contemporary productions that seek to educate South Florida’s diverse community. The Playground’s community outreach program enables more that 13,000 children and their families to see performances each year by distributing free tickets through public schools, charities and community organizations.

Ms. Haynes, a Miami Shores resident, has been with FPL since 2002 and works with the utility’s community investment plans and educational matching gifts programs. She has a Masters in Business Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta and a B.S. in Accounting from Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia.
