JUNO BEACH, Fla. -- Bob Coleman, a regional director of External Affairs for Florida Power & Light Company, was elected chairman of the Workforce Development Board of Volusia and Flagler counties. The Workforce Development Board (WDB) is a non-profit organization serving the workforce development and planning needs of the two-county region. As chairman, Coleman serves as the volunteer head of the WDB, which sets policy and direction for staff activities.
Coleman, a 35-year FPL employee, is actively involved in numerous community organizations, including the Florida International Festival, FUTURES, Boys & Girls Club of Volusia and Flagler, Crime Stoppers, Bike Week Task Force, and Halifax Hospital. He is a graduate of Florida Institute of Technology, Harvard Business School’s Program for Management Development and the Brookings Institution. Coleman and his wife, Bobbi, live in Ormond Beach and have two sons and granddaughters.
