FPL webinar to help small and medium-size businesses enhance efficiency

JUNO BEACH, Fla. -- Specifically designed for small and medium-size business customers, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) is hosting a free webinar, entitled “Managing Energy Costs in an Era of Rising Fuel Prices.”  Coinciding with Florida’s Energy Efficiency Week, the Web cast is scheduled for October 10, 2006, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.  

 

Through the webinar, an interactive seminar utilizing both Internet and phone technology, FPL will provide practical information and tips that can help businesses assess electricity usage, become more energy efficient and identify ways to simplify energy spending.  Participants will learn about strategies for managing energy costs that have worked for other, similar-sized business customers.  Additionally, FPL energy experts will discuss the full range of incentives designed to encourage businesses to improve energy efficiency, ultimately improving profits.

 

Presenters for the program are Tracie Bagans, corporate manager for small and medium business customers for FPL and John Haney, director of brand management for FPL.  Both presenters will be available for questions related to rising fuel costs and energy efficiency for FPL business customers.
