JUNO BEACH, Fla. -- Florida Power & Light Company has announced it will perform work on equipment in the Town of Palm Beach beginning on Thursday, January 18 and continuing through Friday, January 26. On Thursday, January 18 and Friday, January 19, FPL crews will be tree trimming or line clearing. From Monday, January 22 through Friday the 26 FPL crews will be replacing five poles. All the work is scheduled to take place in the rear of the 300 and 400 block of Australian Avenue which is bordered by Brazilian Avenue to the north, Australian Avenue to the south and Coconut Row to the east.
During the work, periodic lane closures should be expected on Australian Avenue. FPL performs planned, regular maintenance or replacement of its equipment such as this to continue to provide its customers with reliable service.
